2021 MARKETING TRENDS for More SALES

Welcome back to my YouTube channel. If this is the first time to my channel, you may not know that I’ve been running a successful online business since 2014, teaching entrepreneurs, how to use social media to promote their own businesses. And over the last seven years, I’ve learned and used a lot of different quote unquote marketing tactics in my business to attract leads and make sales. Some work really well and others simply aren’t worth the time. So in this video, I want to share with you five tactics. I personally use to generate ongoing sales that you should consider adding to your business as well. Number one, offering a free webinar training or masterclass. I’m sure you’ve seen this before and maybe even taken my free masterclass because it’s a widely used tactic in the online business world. The idea with offering a free webinar or training is that you, one collected email addresses of your potential customer to use the training as a way to show off your expertise, educate them on what you do. And three, give them a discount or incentive at the end that encourages them to purchase your paid offering. If done right, this can work great and convert extremely well all while being set to autopilot to set up this marketing tactic, you’ll want to use a tool like webinargeek, who is actually our sponsor for today. You present to someone once they’ve opted in to your email list, it looks something like this. You enter your email to download a free Instagram checklist. Then on the thank you page, I give you the opportunity to purchase an Instagram guide for just $12. The offering is complimentary to the opt-in they just signed up for, and it’s a low ticket offer that doesn’t require much thought process to determine if the person wants it or not. Now, the idea here is not that you’ll generate a million dollars, $12 at a time, but rather the psychology that once someone has made a small investment in your business, they’re much more likely to purchase a higher ticket item at a later date. That means that from this point on you’ll want to continually market to them through email or paid advertising, suggesting your largest offer is what they need. Next. This tactic is amplified by adding urgency, which is my next favorite marketing tactic. Number three, countdown, timers, and urgency. If your heart rate doesn’t increase the slightest, when a deadline is approaching or a clock is about to hit zero, who the heck are you? The rest of us are over here. Panicking, trying to make a last minute decision, which is exactly the position you want to put your potential customers. Now, that sounds kind of bad. I don’t want to make anyone panic or feel uncomfortable, but you do want to push them into a position of active decision-making. Otherwise, many of us with me at the top of the list, we’ll procrastinate as long as humanly possible. This means without urgency, your potential customer may not pull the trigger and you may lose them forever. So no matter what it is, you’re offering try to inject some urgency into it by offering limited quantities, a time limited discount an offer that only opens every few weeks, et cetera. An ounce of urgency can help drastically increase conversions. So definitely try it out. Number four, free challenges or series. This tactic is similar to the free webinar or training, but extends a bit longer. Typically we see this as a three to five day challenge where the business owner takes you through a series of short guided trainings. Each day will be a little different than the last, but they all focus on one core topic. And again, lead the audience to a paid offering on the last day of the challenge or series your audience should be excited about what they learned impressed by you and wanting more so queue your paid offering. It’s the perfect time to pitch when your audience is primed and ready to go out a bit of urgency by adding a time limit to the offer. And bam, you’ve got yourself a wildly successful sale. Now this isn’t a specific marketing tactic per se, but it is a requirement for successful businesses. Every single one of the tactics I’ve shared with you today utilizes email marketing and the collection of emails. So you can stay in contact with your potential customers.
